A large pointy rock emerges from the Pacific Ocean near Villa Creek while a thick layer of clouds slowly eat away at the landscape in the background along a very remote part of the Pacific Coast Highway, in California. I took that picture in June 2016 in Big Sur, California. Today, nothing is left, the entire mountain fell into the ocean, burying the iconic pacific coast highway under millions of tons of dirt and rocks.
