Downtown Core

Detailed view of downtown Los Angeles as seen from the Griffith Observatory. The city is strongly characterized by the presence of low-rise buildings. Few skyscrapers are built outside of the core downtown area which has many buildings over 30 stories, with fourteen over 50 stories, and two over 70 stories.
