Haleakalā Wasteland

Panoramic view of the massive depression some 7 mi (11.25 km) across and 2 mi (3.2 km) wide at the summit of the Haleakalā (or East Maui) Volcano in Maui, Hawaii. Contrary to popular belief, the "crater" is not actually volcanic in origin... just erosion.
