Palau Guëll Central Hall

The Palau Güell's central hall is the palace's central feature around which the entire residence and family life was arranged. It is topped by a unique parabolic dome covered in hexagonal limestone pieces, some perforated so as to allow the entrance of natural light, giving the dome the appearance of a starlit sky. This hall was used for concerts, operas and oratories, cultural gatherings and receptions in Barcelona.
