Hot Meets Cold

Using a boat to get close to the Kamokuna Lava Ocean Entry where the Kīlauea volcano's 61g lava flow enters the Pacific Ocean on the island of Hawaiʻi, in Hawaii. When trade winds blow away the smoke from the lava entering the ocean, you can get a glimpse at the lava waterfalls plunging into the water and creating new land as a lava delta.
