Every Christmas, a 15 meters (50 feet) high Christmas tree is raised up on Prague's Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), right in the middle of the city's largest and most popular Christmas market. The Staroměstská radnice (Old Town Hall) is visible in the background.
