Kohala Coast

Several individual erosion valleys which cut into the land on the northeastern side of the island of Hawaiʻi, in Hawaii, and form the east coast of Kohala Mountain. Some of these valleys are surrounded by 1,500 feet high (460 m) cliffs towering over verdoyant and innaccessible land.
