Waiʻānapanapa Coast

A small black pebble beach hidden next to the more popular Pa’iloa beach in Waiʻānapanapa State Park, in Maui. The beach is located on the King's Trail, a footpath built in pre-contact Hawaii for the ali’i (royalty) and royal messengers – primarily so that the king could survey his lands.
